For the thousandth time that day, Jetta attempted to kick start her broom into the air. And for the thousandth time, it didn't work. "Damn thing..." She sighed, throwing the thing aside and sitting in the grass.
'Mental note: get a new broom because current one is older than dirt.' Jet thought to herself.

I skipped to the quidditch pitch to fly my broom. I had always loved flying it when I went to hogwarts. I was just glad the Dumbledore let me stay until I moved into my house. I saw a girl already there and frowned. I walked over to her. "My broom was the same way a few months ago," I laugh and watch her throw her broom.

"It's a stupid piece of shit is what it is." Jetta scolded, kicking her broom with her foot. She had a stern look upon her face, glaring at the broom. Jet shook her hair out of her eyes and calmed down a minute. "Sorry... Today just isn't my day. I'm Jetta." She said with a slight smile, holding out a hand to the girl.

She nodded in agreement, looking down at her broom. Jet let her hand slip back down to her side, "Yeah. I dunno what to do about it. It's the only broom I have. Well, had." Jetta sighed.

"Ravenclaw..." Jet trailed, shoving her hands into her pockets, "Seventh year also." She detected the pride in the girl's voice; most people were always like that about their house. Jetta just saw it as a way of splitting the school up so people weren't cramped in together.

Jetta said, blowing a piece of hair out of her face, "And yeah, I'd have to agree that the Twilight series is excellent." She grinned after her last statement.
