Catching a Rhythm

I walked out of the castle. It was becoming to crowded. There were too many people walking around. I was still new and had barely talked to more than maybe seven people. I wondered aimlessly on the grounds of Hogwarts. A few minutes later, I found myself out in the Quidditch Pitch. I sat down on the field.

'What to do,' I thought. Then a rhythm popped into my head. I listened to the words inside my head. I stood up and began to dance to it. I didn't care if anyone saw me or what they thought of me. I continued to dance as the rain came pouring down from the heavens above.

Taya walked aimlessly around the Pitch. She was off of work and Michelle was with her friends. She looked up at the dark clouds as a light sprinkle started coming down and smiled. Rain was what she needed. The only thing that was bad about it is that she couldn't draw while it came down. She looked down at the now wet green grass and spun around, enjoying the feeling of the rain.

I continued to dance in the rain, only now I was starting to sing and dance a tune that was related towards the weather out here and how I felt.

I was getting soaked but I could care less. I was enjoy myself for once.

Taya stopped spinning when she heared singing and looked around the Pitch. Her blue eyes landed on a girl that was dancing and she laughed a little. It was good to see someone having a good time here. Too many people were becoming serious.

I was spinning around when I lost my footing. I fell down into the mud. It took a couple a seconds before I realize what had happened. I bursted out laughing either thought I knew I had twisted my ankle.

Taya blinked with realization then slowly walked over to the girl, going to see if she was alright. When she got over to her, she realized that the girl was laughing. Furrowing her eyebrows together in confusion, she looked down at the girl. "...Are you alright?"

[Sasha Star Anderson]

I stopped laughing and looked at the person, who had approached me. "I am fine," I said, "I just lost my footing and twisted my ankle. No big deal. It was worth it to have a little fun out here and get away from the noise up there at the school. I am Sasha Anderson. 7th year Ravenclaw, who apparently is very different than most at this school. Thanks for worrying about me though." I stood back up and tried to shake off the feeling in my ankle.

"Taya Roberts 5th Year Hufflepuff. It's good to see someone different. So many people are so serious now, there's hardly any time for fun now," Taya said, smiling. She pulled her wet hair up into a ponytail and looked over at Sasha. "I'm probably one of the serious ones." She looked up at the sky, the heavy rain reducing to a light sprinkle. She smiled to herself, then looked back over at the girl. "Do you usually dance in the rain?"
