As I left the Gryffindor Common Room, I searched for a place to do some deep thinking. Then outside of the window, I saw the Quidditch Pitch. I smiled as I went to grab my broom. I ran to the pitch and mounted it. The air through my hair brought back ancient memories of my old school and friends. Their laughter as I oftened made a fool of my self. Our own little Quidditch games where I was normally chosen to be seeker. But those days had past as my father's job had moved him here to England. I was just beginning to make friends, but it felt so different here. 'I feel like an outsider,' I thought to myself. Not watching where I was going, I nearly crashed into one of the Keeper's Hop Poles. Then I landed in the stands wondering if I could get use to this new change in school and in life.

I hurry out onto the darkening pitch, clutching my broom. My first day had been pretty hectic, it would be nice to fly. Especially seeing as I'd made the Ravenclaw team as beater. I take off, then almost fly straight into the keepers posts as I see a girl having just landed in the stands. I didn't think anyone would be here. But I shrug it off and carry on flying around the pitch.

I walk up to the Quidditch Pitch to work on my dives as I see a boy take off from the ground and a girl land on the stands. The boy looks new, but I cant be sure. I fly up to him. "Are you new here?" I ask

I watched as two Ravenclaws were flying around the pitch. I picked up my broom and mounted it. I leaned forward and landed on the ground. As I was walking, I tripped over something and twisted my ankle. "Son of a God in Heaven," I screamed as I fell forward. A tear slipped and I tried to get back up without trying to disturb the two Ravenclaws.

I see a girl trip and she fell in an odd angle, which meant she probably twisted her ankle. I fly over to her "Hey, are you ok?"

I flew over with Jaklynn to help up the girl. "Do you need help getting to the hospital wing?" I ask worriedly.

"I should be fine," I say to him, "I just need to walk it off."

"Are you sure?" I say worriedly. I worried a lot.

"Yeah," I responded, "I'm sure, but thank-you though." I began to walk away limping, but I fell again. 'Mabey not,' I thought.

I ran to her side, immediately and put my arm round her without thinking, hauling her up to her feet again. "That doesn't look like it's going to be okay. Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital wing?"

"Maybe the hospital wing is a good idea now," I replied.

"Um...I don't quite know where it is. But I'll help you there." I smile awkwardly, "You'll just have to tell me where we're going."

"No problem," I said, "You'll get use to all the passages soon. I have only been here a week and I still get lost even with my friends."

"It's actually really easy to get lost, the stairs tend to move."

"The stairs move?" I say incredulously. "Now, that explains an awful lot."

"I should have known, the stairs move. That makes sense." I say. "I got very confused this morning, I could have sworn...but if they move, that makes a lot of sense." I laugh.
