I nod back, looking around the corridor and wondering where we are again... then wondering also what time it is and how long we've been talking. The school seems too quiet for some reason, although I suppose most people don't go randomly walking down these corridors.

I freeze momentarily, wondering how that slipped out, then shake my head. "Just tripping over my words. And no, it's fine. Doesn't matter or anything 'cause it's just our heads being weird."
