I walk down to a single tree on the grounds, looking for an unoccupied study spot. "I wonder why no one ever goes by this tree? It has a perfect amount of shade..." I say as I get close to the tree. I sit down right at the edge of the shadow and start reading a Stephen King book called Carrie.
Suddenly, I heard a few branches moving, but noticed no wind on the rest of the grounds. I look up and a rather large tree branch is coming right at me. "Holy Cow!" I scream as I grab my belongings and run from the aim of the violent tree.

I watched from a distance at the boy and couldn't help laughing. "Its called the Whomping Willow for a reason!" I shouted towards him. The boy must have been new. Most students knew better then to go that close to the tree.

"They should have a sign or something put here! Beware of killer tree!" I yell back at the girl, somewhat out of breath from running.

"I think I'll have to remember to do that one day before I leave for good." I said walking over to him.

"Before you leave for good? I'm guessing you're graduating soon?" I ask her. "I'm Henry Demtrius." I say to her with a smile.

"Yeah. This is my final year. Nice to meet you. I'm Cassy Meadowes, also known by many other things." I said.

"Nice to meet you Cassie." I say to her. "You look familiar, gryffindor aren't you?" I ask her.

"Right, Gryffindor 7th year as well." I say to her.

"Thats awsome. We really do have the best house because I'm in it." I joked.

"And I just make it even better..." I say joking as well.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"No not really. I probably make it worse, since I tend to run from killing trees. So much for bravery..." I say laughing.

I laughed shacking my head a little bit. Moving a stary peice of hair behind my ear I said, "I'm sure you're not a coward. Most people don't even dare to come near this tree."

"But see, I didn't know it could move. So, I bet if I did know, I would have stayed clear of this demented tree..." I say giving the tree a glare.

"That just makes you normal, and thats a good thing." I said.

"I would never choose the word normal to describe myself, but thanks?" I say to her.

"Your welcome. Okay, maybe you aren't so normal. I don't know you well enough to tell. But really, I know people so odd that I consider a lot of people normal." I said.

"Well, I probably am normal then...Most guys don't like growing flowers and playing piano." I say to her.

"White lilies are nice too, I don't think I've ever seen a blue daisy though." I said.

"That question will take a long time to answer. I enjoy playing quidditch, going crazy with my friends, bothering Filch, archery, swimming, singing, and baking cookies to name a few." I said.

I smile. "Filch confiscated my cd player. I need to borrow it back..." I say to her. "But like I said, I like flowers, piano, baseball, quidditch and I tend to study alot. That's another reason how I disgrace the typical Gryffindor stereotype."
