I twirl the twig in my fingers, finding the silence vaguely odd but not awkward, while my thoughts jump randomly and finally land on Arden... like usual. I shake my head to make her go away, but that just makes me think of fights.
Dammit... find something to talk about so you don't have to think, I mutter to myself.

Oh, fuck. As soon as I think that, of course, Trisha pops into my head, and I don't have the heart to try and squish her away. Instead I shake my head, hard, and smile wryly at Kyra.
