I finally reached the tree line, seeing the fog hovering only inches from the ground not even a metre in. There was no moonlight in the woods, the thick trees blocking the light.
"Come on"I called cheerily.

I glanced at them again before setting off into the increasingly darkening foliage.
"Yoohoo...Zarrak? I'm gonna find you you little flea bag!" I call out, a teasing smile on my face. I see something above me, about the size of a large bird.
"Hey Jenna...think I found you're bird brain."

I was having alittle trouble keeping up, i really couldn't adjust to the lighting, or lack there of.

I shake my head, knowing very well, from research...that monkeys are exceptionally intelligent and owls are actually known to be rather idiotic. I walked expertly through the underbrush, having spent far too much time in the dark than normal; my night vision was pretty damn good if you asked me.
"So Nick, since we've established that I have a monkey, and Jenna has an owl...what did you pick?"

I laughed softly, finally catching up to the little capuchin ahead of me. "Gotcha"
I climbed down a few branches, Zarrak in my hands before dropping the remaining way to the ground, landing with a soft thud on my feet.
