I clambered up a tree, relishing the scraped knees and the smell of bark and the fact that I had twigs in my hair.
It made me feel younger than I was.
I liked that.
I hoisted myself up onto a branch and swung around so I was upside down, hanging on by my legs, hair hanging loose, and down to the floor.
I closed my eyes and breathed in the soft smells of the forest, and listened my heart beat as the blood rushed to my heads.
I let out a small laugh.
