Saphire, wanting to rid herself of the noise in the greathall left the castle through a smaller exit to remain unseen.
She had a headache, and didn't feel up to eating anything tonight. With a sigh she looked up and the moon appeared to be blue. She smiled slightly then shook her head and headed towards the lake.
She saw it in the distance, and already could feel the cool breeze comming from it.

Kaleb walked sullenly down the path away from the castle.
He rather not be up there tonight, everyone was happy. Everyone except him. His family was dead. His cousins murdered.
All because of him. He hadn't done enough to protect them.
He had shown weakness, and because of that his family had paid the price.
A frown filters across Kaleb's face as he kicks a rock down the path, making it whip into the lake.
Why must the good die young? He wonder to himself as he sits on the bank of the lake, unaware of the girl next to him.

Saphire noticed an older man pass her up and sit on the bank of the lake without saying a word.
'Rude' she thought to herself and continued to her slow walk to the lake. She wasn't sure if she should talk to this man..he didnt' look much older then her but that didn't mean anything.
once she reached the lake she sat on a rather large, but flat rock before crossing her legs and looking at him.

Kaleb sighs, still unware anyone else was there, tangling his hands frustadely into his hair.
It's your fault they're dead Kaleb. Your the eldest, your suppose to be looking after them.
He mentally scolds himself for being weak. you panicked, and they ended up paying for your mistakes Kaleb.

She sighed and got up to walk over to him. "So.." She said sitting next to the older man "Whats your fault?"

Saphire shook her head.
"If thats there area of expertise yes..I can but I'd rather not" She said as she threw some stray hair from her eyes.
"I can also heal, and people seem keen on using me for that" She looked at him with a slight smile then shrugged. "I'd rather just hear what your thinking... even though" She said after a minutes thought "It can give a weak person a rather large headache"
She tilted her head as she looked at him and wondered if she knew of his family. More then likely yes, but now adays it was rather hard to keep up with each family that was killed off. It seemed like there was a giant list now, and more people were being killed everyday.
Now that she thought of it. Jerami might be responsible for this mans family, Saphire could only hear what he knew though..

"I can see why you'd rather not." Kaleb agrees,"Healing powers, must come in handy in times like these." He sighs, tangling a hand in his hair before slipping his hand into his pocket pulling out a cigarette in a lighter. "You don't mind do you?" He asks, but lights up anyway.
"My family's dead. And it's all 'cos of this." Kaleb mutters bitterly, rolling up his sleeve, showing the clearly visible dark mark.

A daughter Kaleb, Jessie didn't want you to know, she said that you two weren't ready. Left her with me, but since Jessie passed on, I think it's better you have her.
"Jess's mother brought her to me a couple months ago. Total surprise."
